Based on the eco-friendly animated series created by Ted Turner. According to at least one online list (source), Captain Planet was mentioned in "a 1994 French magazine" as being in development for the Sega Master System. Other than this unverified information, we know nothing about the game. Although Sega published Captain Planet and the Planeteers for the Sega Genesis, the supposed 1994 mention above puts the Master System game a full two years after its release. If Captain Planet was at any time in development for the Master System, we do not currently believe it was in tandem with the Genesis game. | ||||||||
